Willis "Billy" Shipton, Iii

Willis “Billy” R. Shipton, III, 35, of Loves Park passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Born May 7, 1985, in Rockford, the son of Willis, Jr., and Bonnie (Henninger) Shipton. Member of Calvary Memorial Church. He loved his parents, sister, daughter, and his family very much and was loved by many in return. Billy was a good brother and uncle. He had the biggest heart, was humble, helpful, and full of grace. Billy enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and other winter activities. He was a jack of all trades. Billy loved fireworks and was a skilled pyrotechnician. Survivors include his parents; daughter, Prim; sister, Betsie; nephew, Jaxon; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; close and special friends, FTC, Brad Smith, Peter Yi, and many others. Predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Willis and Claryce Shipton; and maternal grandparents, Dewey “PaPa” and Barb “WaWa” Henninger. Special thanks to Pastor David Petty and Nori’s Café.
