William “Bill” B. Perkins, 73, of Norwood, MO, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, in Springfield, MO. Born January 7, 1950, in Boscobel, WI, the son of Buddie and Clara (Deal) Perkins. Employed as a machinist by Sundstrand retiring after 30 years. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cribbage with his family. He loved sweet corn so much that he would drive eight hours from Missouri to Illinois just to buy some. Survivors include sister, Shonnie (Jim) DiGiovanni; brother, Brian (Kimberly) Perkins; nieces, Jessica (Paul) Lepien and Tiffany (Jamie) Barone; nephew, Phillip DiGiovanni; great-nieces, Giovanna Barrone, Tony Lepien and Katie Lepien; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by his parents; and cat, Mo.
Memorial visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
