William Lindvall

William Wesley Lindvall, 67, of Rockton passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, in his home. Born May 4, 1949, in Rockford, the son of John W. and Ruth May (Anderson) Lindvall. Veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Army. Married Sandra K. Speaker. They were together for 28 years. He retired from Space Saver Corporation in Ft. Atkinson, WI. William was formerly an electrical contractor in the Rockford area for many years. Former Chairman of the Board at Rock Valley College. Survivors include his wife, Sandra; daughter, Tanya (Mitchell Roth) Blum; son, Troy (Jennifer) Cagle; grandchildren, Garrett (Tessa Black) Blum, Carrigan Blum, Morgan Blum and Chloe Cagle; brothers, Robert Lindvall and David Lindvall; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Dawn (Brian) Conway. Predeceased by his parents.

Memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 4 p.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
