William "Bill" Conklin

William “Bill” Pryce Conklin, 50, of Rockford passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021.  Born January 5, 1971, in Rockford, the son of James and Diane (Snodgrass) Conklin.  Graduated from Guilford High School, Class of 1989, and Western Illinois University.  Married Sara E. Morse on August 27, 2004, in Rockford.  Employed by Local 364.  Avid St. Louis Cardinal and Minnesota Viking fan.  Bill loved traveling with his family to Lake Geneva, watching his daughter, Maddie’s, softball games and was an animal lover.  Survivors include his wife, Sara; daughters, Makenzi and Madison; son, Caden; mother, Diane; paternal grandmother, Jeanie Conklin; brother, Tim Conklin; special aunt, Linda Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his father; maternal grandparents, Clinton and Blanche Snodgrass; paternal grandfather, James Conklin; special dog, Neca.

Memorial walk through visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.  Social distancing and face coverings required.  Cremation rites accorded.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his name.
