Willard Harp

Willard L. Harp, 74, of Loves Park passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016, in his home. Born December 7, 1941, in Christian County, MO, the son of Lloyd and Cecile E. (Roberts) Harp. Willard was a self-employed excavator for many years in the Rockford area. Avid Cubs, NASCAR and Bulls fan. Survivors include Willard’s significant other, Betty Burbach; son, Jeff (Sherry) Harp; eight grandchildren, Brittany Harp, Tia Harp, Hailey Harp, Logan Burbach, Lucas Burbach, Max Burbach, Aubrey Burbach and Kylie Hammons; 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Harp and Tom (Betty) Harp; sister, Pat (Martin) Pokrant; several nieces and nephews; special family, Shannon and Heather Burbach; special friend, Spanky. Predeceased by his parents; and brother, Delmer.

Service at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 24, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 2 p.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
