Wayne Arthur Rasner, Sr., 55, of Roscoe passed away Friday, April 14, 2017. Born December 1, 1961, in Menominee, MI, the son of Glenn D. and Carol M. (Walk) Rasner, Sr. Married Jody Marie Sargent on August 18, 2012, in Rockford. Owned and operated Rockford Molded Products for 34 years. Member of the Shriners. Wayne was a jack of all trades and could do anything. He was passionate about his family, especially his grandchildren. Wayne loved riding his motorcycle, boating, traveling, golfing and warm weather. Survivors include his wife, Jody; children, Michelle (Tom) Thome of Pecatonica, Megan (Ryan) Klikno of South Beloit, Wayne (Brittni) Rasner, Jr., of Pecatonica, David (Ashley) Rasner of Winnebago, Barry McManus of Rockford, Rachel Otero of Rockford and Michael Day of Roscoe; grandchildren, Jayden and Taitum Thome, Peyton, Taylor and Jordyn Klikno, Seven and Paisley Rasner, Ayden and Braxtyn Rasner, Teagan Briggs, Marya Otero, Jason and Estelesie Day; stepfather, Donald Ratayczak; brother, Glenn D. (Anita) Rasner, Jr.; sister, Mary (Rick) Stucy; Wayne had a special place in his heart for his aunt and uncle, Ron and Joanne Ducharme; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents; and stepmother, Arlene Rasner.
Service at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from noon to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for a memorial to be established for his grandchildren’s college education. Out of town cards and memorials may be sent to the funeral home and will be forwarded to the family.
