Wayne A. Barnes, 72, of Rockton passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in Presence Cor Mariae Center. Born November 7, 1946, in Rockford, the son of Allen E. and Ruby L. (Willis) Barnes. Veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force. Formerly employed by Rockford Standard Furniture. Retired from Anderson Nissan & Mazda. Survivors include his sister, Valorie McCreath; brother, Brian (Liz) Barnes; numerous cousins including, Lucinda (Howard) DeHaven. Predeceased by his parents; and nephew, Jeff.
