Ward W. Moberg, Jr., 77, of Byron, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Neighbors Health Center, Byron, IL. Born on Tuesday, May 4, 1948, in Rockford, IL, the son of Ward W. and Dolores G. (Barickman) Moberg, Sr. He married Lisa Joy Scott. Former bartender at Prairie Moone. Member of Kepotah Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed drag racing, hunting and fishing. Survivors include his son, Chester Moberg; grandson, Kayden Prince; great-granddaughter, Ivy Rose Prince; sister, Susan Donaldwald. Predeceased by his parents; wife; brother, Larry Moberg.

Memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2026, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 1 p.m. to service time. Cremation rites accorded.
