Wanda Davis

Wanda L. Davis, 84, of Machesney Park passed away Monday, February 5, 2018. Born September 11, 1933, in Pana, the daughter of Charles Guy and Lillie May (Brown) Vermillion.  Married Earl Lloyd Davis.  Employed by Guilford High School.  Member and former treasurer of North Suburban Woman’s Club.  She loved square dancing and camping.  Survivors include her children, Steve (Karen) Davis, Carol Wiechman, Doug Davis and Phil (Terri) Davis; son-in-law, Greg Swigert; grandchildren, J.R. (Jessica Morris) Swigert, Jeffrey Swigert, Lindsey (Logan Caple) Swigert, Chris Swigert, Kristi Wiechman, Andy Wiechman, Tiffany Davis, Matthew Davis and Amelia (Richard) Seay; great-grandchildren, Lavender Ruth and Harper; sister, Luella (Morris) Hubbartt; several nieces and nephews; special loved ones in Pana, George Hubbartt and family, Kathy Buerk and family, Morris and Lisa Hubbartt and family, Melvin Bruns and family; special friends, Bob, Sally and Megan Foley; and pet dog, Holly.  Predeceased by her parents; husband; daughter, Ruth Swigert; and grandson, Michael Davis.

Service at 1 p.m. Friday, February 9, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.  Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 8, in the funeral home.
