Vivian Kast

Vivian M. Kast, 96, of Rockford passed to her heavenly home Saturday, September 9, 2017, in Alpine Fireside Health Center. Born March 29, 1921, in Vernon County, WI, the daughter of Gilbert and Edna (Vanderbilt) Turben.  Married Lowell Pearl Kast on December 25, 1940, in Soldiers Grove, WI.  Vivian was a faithful member of Firstborn Ministries.  Survivors include her sons, Velores “Toodie” (Paula) Kast and Timothy (Deborah) Kast; grandchildren, Julie Stebbins and Bradley Kast; brother, Gilbert (Peggy) Turben; several nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Patricia Schall.  Predeceased by her parents; husband, Lowell on October 31, 1986; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.

Service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, in Firstborn Ministries, 8213 North Alpine Road, Loves Park. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 18, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
