Vicki Laube

Vicki J. (Dean) Laube, 49, of Rockford passed away peacefully Friday, December 29, 2017, surrounded by her family. Born January 26, 1968, in Seattle, WA, the daughter of Jerry and Margery (Sharke) Dean.  Attended Rockford area schools.  Married Christopher Laube on October 12, 1996, in Janesville, WI.  Formerly employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield for 12 years and later by Transitions Hospice.  Recently employed by OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.  She celebrated life every day.  Vicki loved her mother daughter time, flowers, gardening, ceramics, scrapbooking and the holidays.  Survivors include her daughters, Ebony (Ian) Stretch and Samantha Laube; mother, Margery Dean; former husband, Chris Laube; mother and father-in-law, Jerry (Karen) Laube; grandparents, Albert (Beverly) Ostenson; brother-in-law, Philip (Michelle) Laube; sister-in-law, Tanya (Adrian) Godinez; nephews, Keegan, Carson and Brady; nieces, Megan, Madison and Raylynn; her loving fur baby, Dex.  Predeceased by her father and fur baby, Boomer.  The family wishes to thank the Sisters of the Mormon Church for their kindness and support.

Service at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 4 p.m. to service time.
