Timothy Taylor

March 22, 1943 — June 6, 2021

Timothy A. Taylor, 78, of Loves Park passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, in his home.  Born March 22, 1943, in Rockford, the son of Fred A. and Lillian B. (Hedrick) Taylor.  Married Beverly E. Naber on February 23, 1963.  Formerly employed by WF & John Barnes, Rehnberg Jacobson, Greenlee Manufacturing, Hill Rockford and retired after 32 years from Ingersoll.  Attended St. Bridget Catholic Church.  Avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan.  Timothy loved cars and spending time with his many friends.  He competed on the Ingersoll Trap Shooting Team.  Survivors include his wife, Beverly; sons, Jeffrey Taylor and Scott (Jean) Taylor; grandchildren, Brenden (fiancé, Keira Leaich) Taylor and Shayne Taylor; sister, Joye Breseman; sister-in-law, Jeanne Breseman; niece, Jill; nephew, Jon (Janie) Breseman; and many loving friends.  Predeceased by his parents; brother, Donald Taylor; sister, Faye Doherty; brothers-in-law, Dave Doherty and Jim Breseman; and nephew, Kim Breseman.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021, in St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park, with visitation from 9 a.m. to service time.  Burial in Argyle Scottish Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mercy Health at Home Hospice, 4223 East State Street, Rockford, IL 61108.  Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., of Loves Park.
