Timothy W. And Julie K. Murphy

Timothy W. Murphy, 66, of Machesney Park passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, in his home.  He was born March 25, 1955, in Moline, the son of Delbert and Ruth (Schilling) Murphy.  He married Julie K. Roete on November 28, 1981, in Moline.  Julie K. Murphy, 63, also passed away Friday, October 1, 2021, in Javon Bea Hospital.  She was born September 22, 1958, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer and Ellen (Reilly) Roete.  Timothy was employed by Arachnid.  Julie was employed by Nunzio’s.  They attended Life Church.  Timothy and Julie loved spending holidays with family and their vacations at Lake of the Ozarks.  They cared for family, friends and were always there for anyone in need.  Survivors include their children, Kyle, Kaidyn, Katie, and Kayley; their grandchildren, Sienna, Kameron, and Elijah; and numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Celebration of Life will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Life Church, South Campus, 4312 20th Street, Rockford.  Cremation rites accorded.  Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for financial assistance or visit www.gofundme.com/f/bless-the-murphys .
