Tim Edward Dailey, 57, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Born July 25, 1963, in Rockford, son of Bernard “Bernie” and Mildred “Helen” (Baney) Dailey. Married Kimberly M. Corey on September 11, 2004, in Riverside Community Church, Machesney Park, IL. Tim was a hardworking man and devoted his life to taking care of his family. He was a successful businessman and was co-owner of Parsons Collision Center. You may know him as the man with the talking parrot in the Parsons commercial. Tim shared an amazing bond with his Parson’s partners and was very grateful for their support throughout his life. Tim and Kim owned The Eagles Nest Resort in Camp Douglas, WI. Owning The Eagles Nest Resort was a venture of love between Tim and Kim that they worked on and celebrated throughout their marriage. Tim was born into a multi-talented family of musicians. He played drums and sang in professional bands at 13 years of age. Tim won a RAMI award as a part of Southern Cross. Tim attended a vocational school to learn to rebuild vehicles. He owned several hot rods that he re-built before getting a driver’s license. Tim had many passions and a generous heart. His greatest joys were spending time with his grandchildren, listening to his daughter sing and perform, talking sports with his son, spending special time with his brother and sister, and traveling with his wife for two weeks every year to their time share in Aruba to celebrate their anniversary. Tim often referred to Aruba as his little piece of Heaven on earth. Tim was incredibly blessed with a lifetime of wonderful friendships that helped to define his life. Survivors include his wife, together for 20 years, Kimberly; children, Mandy (Gary) Dailey Watts and Dustin (fiancé, Becca) Dailey; grandchildren, Addison and Leah; brother, Rick Dailey; sister, Connie Dailey; mothers-in-law, Sharon Corey and Connie Price; brothers-in-law, Troy (Veronica) Corey and Rick Hughes; sisters-in-law, Camie (John) Ciembronowicz, Dana (Terry) Joiner, Michelle (Jack) Clark and Jennifer Hughes; aunt, Joyce Vance; many nieces and nephews.
