Thomas E. Wienzierl, Jr., 67, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, in his home after a several month battle with cancer with his loving family by his side. Born October 29, 1956, in Rockford, IL, the son of Thomas E. and Doris Anna (Pasch) Wienzierl, Sr. He married Jeanne Brown on July 29, 2006. He was employed by Rockford Foundry for 42 years, retiring in 2020. Thomas enjoyed riding his Harley on long-distance trips and leisurely rides through the country with his wife, Jeanne. He loved fishing and working in the yard. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne; stepchildren, Kari (Nick) Rullo, Christopher (Kim) Reisetter, and Jordan (Samantha) Reisetter; grandchildren, Anthony, Madelyn, Harper, Kinsey, Joshua, Sophia, and Savannah; great-grandchildren, Karsyn, and Kayson; siblings, Bob, Pam, Janet, Peggy, Rod, Cindy, Lorrie, and Paul; numerous nieces and nephews; and special cat and napping buddy Maxine. Predeceased by his parents; nephew, Jeffrey; and granddaughter, Gabriella.
Graveside service at 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2023, at Pinnacle Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Valley Road, Roscoe, IL. Visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.
Graveside service at 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2023, at Pinnacle Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Valley Road, Roscoe, IL. Visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.
