Thomas C. Addams, 80, of Rockford passed away Friday, August 10, 2018, in River Bluff Nursing Home. Born December 28, 1937, in Rockford, the son of Charles Howard and Lillian (Lawson) Addams. Married Bonnie Greenhow. Tom was the co-owner of Addams Sales and Rentals with his son, Doug and brother, Richard. Formerly employed by Rockford Black Top, Smith Oil and as a security guard for Tru-Valu in Harvard. Member of Loves Park Lion’s Club and the Eagles Club. Survivors include wife, Bonnie; son, Doug (Tonya) Addams; grandsons, Trevor Addams, Kyle (Brenda) Greenhow, K.C. Greenhow, Matt Bostrom, Chris Kunze, Dustin Meier and Andrew Meier; granddaughters, Kala (Steve) Noonan, Kara (Wayne) Trimbell, Koreen (Nate) Holmes, Jessica Greenhow and Tiffany (Adam) Manix; numerous great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife, Paulette in 1992; parents; eight brothers; and one sister. Memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 31, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 12:30 p.m. to service time. Inurnment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
