Theda Louise Gregory, 94, of Rockford died Wednesday, March 6, 2019, in her home. Born December 4, 1924, in Mayfield, MO, the daughter of Leander James and Mildred Mae (Hueter) Wooldridge. Married Lewis Dale Gregory on January 9, 1948, in Bloomfield, Missouri. Formerly employed by General Cable in St. Louis, MO, during World War II, Nelson Knitting and Wesley Willows. Member of North Park Church of Christ. She loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Theda enjoyed cooking and crocheting blankets for her family. She loved attending and watching her grandkids play sports. Theda also loved her church, music and singing. Survivors include her children, Marty (Mary) Gregory of Elgin, Stan (Gloria) Gregory of Loves Park, Cheryl Baker of Searcy, Ark., and Linda Kellett of Loves Park; grandchildren, Michael (Kristi) Gregory, Mindy (John) Lucas, Ashley Gregory, Lauren (Ben) Lambert, Grant (Ryan) Gregory, Amelia Baker, Chelsey (Errick) Bradley and Jake (Renae) Kellett; great-grandchildren, Andrew Gregory, Claire Gregory, Oliver Gregory, Lucy Gregory, Crosby Gregory, MJ Ditto, Brock Ditto, Andie Mae Bradley, Tucker Bradley, Abigail Lambert and one on the way; numerous nieces, nephews, all loving family and friends. Predeceased by parents; husband; grandson, Danny Braun; sister, Florene Davis; and brother, Stanley Wooldridge. Special thanks to Mercy Hospice and to her church family for their prayers.
Service at 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, in North Park Church of Christ, 7620 Elm Ave., Machesney Park. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
