Terry Joe Milroy, 65, of Loves Park, IL, went to heaven on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Born July 21, 1958, in Rockford, IL, the son of Gordon N. and Geraldine (Flint) Milroy. Graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1976, and received his associate degree at Rock Valley College in engineering. Formerly employed by Barber Coleman and employed for more than 30 years at Sundstrand and most recently at GE Aerospace. Member of Grace Lutheran Church and Lombardi Club. Terry enjoyed playing slow pitch softball, poker, cooking, and working around the house. He loved spending time with family and laying around his pool having a cold beer. Avid Chicago Bear and Cubs fan. Survivors include his daughter, Daniella Milroy; son, Taylor Milroy; adopted daughters, Angela Milroy and Michelle Wright; sister, Gail Vermillion; brother, Tom (Carrie) Milroy; additional siblings, Linda Zimmerman, Mike Willis, Bryan Willis, Cathy Willis-Dezarn, Greg Willis, and Kelly Rollie; many nieces and nephews; loving cat, Dilly Dilly. Predeceased by his parents.

Memorial service at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 1:30 p.m. to service time. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
