Terry Bishop

Terry M. Bishop, 79, of Machesney Park passed away Friday, February 26, 2021, in SwedishAmerican Hospital.  Born December 22, 1941, in Seattle, WA.  Married Phyllis Hoffman on July 1, 1968.  Previously employed by Gunite.  Retired from Schnucks bakery department in 1994.  Member of Grace Lutheran Church.  Terry enjoyed spending time with his family and relaxing in the backyard with his dog, Spud.  He also enjoyed watching movies, was a hobbyist woodworker and avid reader and writer.  Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; daughters, Lori (Scott) Boeke, Shannon (Del) Hasa, and Heather (Michael) Bishop; grandchildren, Ryan Boeke, Kameron Boeke, Morgan Hasa, and Ellison Hasa; sister, Karen Hoffman; and brother, James Phen.  Predeceased by his mother, Helen Phen; and brother, Daniel Phen.

Private family services will be streamed live on the Delehanty Funeral Home Facebook page at 3 p.m. Thursday March 4, 2021.  Cremation rites accorded.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
