Terry Bennett

Terry E. Bennett, 63, of Rockford passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born November 28, 1953, in Peoria, the son of Harold and Bernadeen (Stewart) Bennett. Married Wanda Stanley on May 16, 1992, in Shirland Methodist Church. Employed as a carpet technician for various companies in the Rockford area. Terry enjoyed fishing, especially kidding and giving people a hard time. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Bennett; daughter, Sabrina (Zakkary) Nilles; sons, Jeremy Bennett and Matthew (Elysse) Bennett; father, Harold Bennett; sister, Tammy (Kenny) Bennett; brothers, Danny Bennett and Jamie Bennett; sister-in-law, Laurie Davis; nieces, Heather (Will) Haughton and Kristin (Garrett) Mitchell. Predeceased by his mother, Bernadeen Bennett; and brother, Tim Bennett.

Memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, December 18, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
