Suzanne “Suzi” J. Miller, 81, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in her home. Born December 13, 1943, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Doyle R. and Shirley (Clausen) Carter. Attended Harlem High School. She married Charles Miller on April 1, 1990, in Machesney Park. Suzi loved knitting, puzzles, sewing, cooking, cats, traveling, taking rides in the country, and just talking with friends and neighbors. She was a kind and loving woman. Survivors include her husband, Charles; children, Clark (Jennifer) Taft of Pensacola, FL, and Teresa (Frank) Stosberg of Tennessee; grandchildren, Amber Taft, Doyle Taft, William Taft, Cheyanne Taft, Joy Anderson, Samantha Anderson, Edwin Francisco, and Skylar Stosberg; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Arianna; brother, Lee (Rhonda) Carter of California; many nieces and nephews; and loving fur baby, Snickers. Predeceased by her parents; brother, Kai Carter; and Siamese cats, Peanuts and Salty.

As per her request, there are no services. Cremation rites accorded. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL.
