Stewart P. Walk

Stewart P. Walk, 76, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Javon Bea Hospital. Born on Sunday, September 11, 1949, in Rockford, IL, the son of Paul A. and Virginia E. (Lenius) Walk. He married Cheryl Beaty, on May 20, 1969, in Rockford. Employed by OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Volunteered at Drum Corps. Avid Illini and Detroit Lions fan. He was always willing to help someone in need, putting others first. Stewart enjoyed gardening and tending to flowers. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; children, Harold, Terry, Theresa (boyfriend, Tim), and Craig; sister, Priscilla Walk; brother, Darwin (Barb) Walk and family. Predeceased by his parents.

Memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 2715 North Mulford Road, Rockford, with memorial visitation from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Cremation rites accorded. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
