Steven H. Stafford, 78, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. He was born on Saturday, January 31, 1948, in Rockford, IL, the son of Marvin Dene and Helen Elaine (Wilcoxson) Stafford. Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He married Sung-Hui Donofrio. Employed by the City of Rockford. Survivors include his wife, Sung-Hui; brothers, Jon Stafford and Jim Stafford; and sister, Sandra Stafford. Predeceased by his parents; and sister, Marcia (Dennis) Anthony.
As per his request, there will be no services. Cremation rites accorded. Private inurnment in Winnebago Cemetery, Winnebago, IL. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL.
