Steve Litrop

Steve J. Litrop, 80, of Rockford entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Born April 16, 1936, in Chicago, the son of Stephan and Mary (Plecko) Litrop. Survivors include his sisters, Mary Ann (August) Benesh and Cecelia O’Connor; sister-in-law, Margaret Litrop; and he will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; brother, John Litrop; and brother-in-law, James O’Connor. The family wishes to thank all the loving staff at Alden Debes.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 21, in St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., Loves Park.
