Shirley Papen

Shirley J. Papen, 79, formerly of Loves Park passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 in Swedish American Hospital. Born December 27, 1936 in North Wilkesboro, NC, daughter of John and Dixie (Gregory) Myers. Married Ernest Papen, May 17, 1994 in Las Vegas. Formerly employed by Park Lanes for many years. Member of Mt. Morris Moose Club. Survivors include her husband, Ernie; children, Mike (Dena) Myers, Keith (Maureen) Myers, Alice (Fred) McQueary, Kelly (Andy) Clayton and Tim (Sheree) White; step children, James (Barbara) and Norman (Sue) Papen, Susan (Timothy) Shay; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Charles White in 1981 and her parents.

Memorial visitation 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016 with prayer service at 2 p.m. in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Her son, Mike Myers will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
