Shirley Mae Ayersman, 96, of Loves Park, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, in her home. Born June 13, 1924, in Rockford, the daughter of Charles Anthony and Amelia M. (Brassea) Marelli. Married Adam P. Ayersman on September 13, 1944, in Rockford. Retired from AmCore Bank. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon “Sherry” Fink; son, Charles Ayersman; grandchildren, Chad Fink, Micki Ayersman, Kristin Fink, Justin Fink and Alexis Fink; great-grandchildren, Bella Grin, Jacob Frasca, Brianna Fink and Leanna Fink; sister, Gloria Carley. Predeceased by her parents; and husband.

Services were private. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
