Shirleen Ruth Humpal
Shirleen Ruth Humpal, 92, of Loves Park, IL, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at River Bluff Nursing Home in Rockford, IL. Born August 28, 1929, the daughter of John and Leola (Allen) Chaussee in Dickinson, ND. Graduated from Bishop Muldoon High School and then trained as an X-ray technician at St. Anthony Hospital. In 1966, she married Edward Humpal. Longtime member of St. James Catholic Church where they attended daily Mass and prepared the altar for services, then enjoyed breakfast out with fellow parishioners. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Lorraine Chaussee; and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and brother, Barry.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2022, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 8616 West State Street, Winnebago, IL. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Loves Park.
