Sharon A. Clark, 77, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, February 2, 2024, in her home. Born February 2, 1947, in Walker, MN, the daughter of Addrain and Beula (Davis) Travis. She married Tommy Clark on October 27, 1964, in Omaha, NE. Employed by Walter Lawson Children’s Home for several years. Member of United Methodist Church. Sharon took great pride being a wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling, baking, and gardening. The family feels blessed to have had such a wonderful person a part of our lives. Thanks for the memories, Mom. Survivors include her husband, Tom; her children, James (Lerma) Clark, Lisa (Lynn Kearney) Clark, Julie (Mitchell) King; granddaughter, Jamie (Dan); brother, Dale (Elsa) Travis; sister-in-law, Corey Travis; several nieces and nephews; loving dog, Pixie. Predeceased by her parents; grandsons, Jimmy Clark and Travis King; brother, Merrill Travis. Special thanks to OSF Hospice for their love and care.

Service at noon Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 11 a.m. to service time. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
