Scott A. Grabow, 55, of Roscoe passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020, after a long battle with cancer. He passed away in his home surrounded by his family. Born May 7, 1964, in Rockford, the son of Ardell E. and Ruth A. (Pierce) Grabow. Graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1982. Married Lisa A. Palmer on May 9, 1992, at Grace Lutheran Church in Loves Park. Employed by Landmark Printing for 24 years. Member of Flatlanders Fishing Club. Scott loved spending time with his girls and their annual trip to the Pec Thing. He loved camping, fishing and trips to Canada, where he finally caught his 50-inch Muskie this past summer of 2019. Avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Grabow; daughters, Chelsea Grabow and Cori Grabow; brother, Tim Grabow; mother- and father-in-law, Fran and Wayne Mecca; sisters-in-law, Chris (Brian) Allen, Laura (Doug) Bisso and Mary (Ralph) Minzer; brother-in-law, Leonard Palmer; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; and sister, Julie Grabow. Special thank you to Linda Oyen, Fran Mecca, Chris Allen, Britton Allen, Kelsey Zammuto and Brittany Stiffler.
Memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 1, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 11 a.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Scott’s name.
