Ruth Elizabeth Todd, 88, of Rockford passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, in River Bluff Nursing Home. Born May 9, 1931, in Rockford, the daughter of Willard C. and Loretta M. (Culertson) Johnson. Married Robert Preston Todd on July 9, 1955, in Rockford. Retired from Bergner’s. Survivors include her brother, Gerald Johnson; sister-in-law, Nancy Johnson; niece and nephews, Tim (Susan) Johnson, Tracey (Lenny) Cook, Todd Johnson, Bryce Johnson and Jason Johnson; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband; and brothers, George, Dennis and Willard “Bill” Johnson.
Graveside entombment at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2019, in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., of Loves Park.
