Ruth V. Pierson, 63, of Loves Park passed Saturday, March 14, 2020, in her home, surrounded by her family. Born November 23, 1956, in Mendota, the daughter of Jack and Mariam (Dahlin) Lampkin. Married Paul O. Pierson on March 24, 2012, in Dixon. Ruth enjoyed gardening, bird watching, traveling and lawn art. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, cats and researching family genealogy. Avid NASCAR and Chicago Bears fan. Survivors include her husband, Paul Pierson of Loves Park; daughters, Tracy Bennett of Chicago, Amy (Bryan) Hartgraves of Wonder Lake and Jackie (John) Blanchard of Dixon; grandchildren, Koty (Samantha) Bennett, Kermit (Essence Budach) Bennett, IV, Dalton Bennett, Ashley Bennett, Tyler Drake, John Blanchard, II, Kevin Blanchard and Wyiet Blanchard; great-grandchildren, Emmalynn Bennett and Nash Bennett; sister, Judy Nellans of Kingston; niece, Kim Stillson; great-niece, Keeley Stillson; brother-in-law, Phil (Evelyn) Pierson; feline companions, Mittens and Mona. Predeceased by her parents; brothers, Ronnie and Clay Lampkin; niece Jodi Lampkin. Special thanks to Julie Papini for her friendship and the staff at Javon Bea Hospital for their compassionate care.
