Ruth Ferguson

Ruth J. Ferguson, 95, of Loves Park passed away Monday, February 15, 2021, in Carriage Rehab and Healthcare, Rockford. Born April 16, 1925, in Argonia, KS. Employed by many established restaurants. Life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Ruth was a den mother, girl scout leader and devoted herself to family. Survivors include her children, Vickie Smith, Ricky Carl, Terry Carl and Wendy (Ken) Sutton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husbands, Richard K. Carl, Dewitt Olmstead, Ralph B. Ferguson, and Cecil Sears.

Private family services will be held with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
