RoseMary E. Murphy, 90, of Cherry Valley died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2016, in The Villa at P.A. Peterson. Born February 10, 1926, in Rockford, the daughter of William and Mabel (Garrett) Hart. Married Sterling J. Murphy on June 15, 1946, in Rockford. Member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Survivors include sons, Thomas (Margo) Murphy and Jim (Karen) Murphy; daughter, Sheryl (Larry) Moberg; grandchildren, Pat (Christina) Murphy, Chris (Laura) Murphy and Jennifer (David) Straube; great-grandchildren, Alex, Brenna, Eryn, Christopher, Cooper, Ava and Brittyn; 1 niece and 1 nephew. Predeceased by parents; husband; brothers and sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, in St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Ave., Rockford. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, in the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., Loves Park.
