Rosemary Lieb

Rosemary Lieb, 84, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016, in Rockford Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born July 26, 1932, in Tamms, the daughter of Filbert and Ethel (Grant) Thomas. Married Henry Lieb on April 1, 1954, in Cornith, MS. Retired from Warner Lambert (Pfizer) after 18 years working as an machine operator. She loved spending time with family and working in her flower beds. Survivors include her sons, Dale (Lynn) Lieb and Robert (Julianna) Lieb; daughters, Cindy Pope and Linda Lieb; grandchildren, Chad Bogenreief, Christina (Byron) Taylor, Candita (Chris) Dessi, Larry (Nicole) Pope Jr., Jerry Pope, Robert (Cassie) Lieb, Sara (Jeremy) Hayward and Lisa Lieb; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Deb (Donna) Thomas, Gus (Sue) Thomas and Joe (Debra) Thomas; sisters, Erma Lieb, Sharon Thompson-West, Shirline Thoman and Phyllis Brown. Predeceased by husband; parents; and brother, Charles Allen Thomas.

Service at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 12:30 p.m. to service time. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
