Ronald E. Dahl, 91, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Swedish American Health. Born August 1, 1933, in Trempealeau, WI, the son of Erwin and Myrtle (Moe) Dahl. Ronald grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. He moved to the Rockford area over 65 years ago to start a family. He married Beatrice E. Olson on September 11, 1954, in Osseo, WI. Employed by Rockford Products for 39 years, retiring in 1995. Member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and Woodworking Club. Ronald loved to make sawdust, using his meticulous woodworking skills. He also loved to go fishing and camping in his spare time. Survivors include his son, Jeff (Theresia) Dahl of Roscoe, IL; daughters, Diane (Ken) Young of Machesney Park, IL and Cheryl (Timothy) Carley of San Antonio, TX; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Carolyn) Dahl; sister-in-law, Darlene Dahl; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; wife; son, Dale R. Dahl; and brother, Carroll Dahl.

Service at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2025, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
