Ronald "Ron" Bergeron

Ronald “Ron” L. Bergeron, 75, of Rockford was called home Friday, February 24, 2017. Born October 5, 1941, in Rockford, the son of Louis and Pauline (Ahlendorf) Bergeron.  Employed by Auburn Street Auto Parts and more recently employed by Farm & Fleet.  Ron was an animal lover, he enjoyed feeding the birds, viewing the thoroughbred horses, classic car shows and was a Civil War enthusiast.  Survivors include his sister, Diane Veitch; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved pet dog, Taylor.  Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Raymond and Robert; and sister, Virginia Pierce.

Memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 6:30 p.m. to service time.
