Rollie W. Purifoy, 98, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in his home. Born September 20, 1926, in Rosston, AR, the son of Willie Rollie and Edna (Williams) Purifoy. Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He married Lourice Hicks on December 22, 1947, in Prescott, AR. Formerly employed by Greenlee Brothers. Survivors include his daughters, Linda Jackson, Wanda Crout, and Colette Purifoy; sons, Ronnie (Ann) Purifoy, and Daryl (Kim) Purifoy; host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents; wife; son, Terry Purifoy.

Service at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from noon to service time. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
