Roger Palmer never met a stranger, his infectious positive attitude was a trait to be admired, his smile was wide and full of love. Family was key, friendship was vital and the love in his heart for life was abundant. Roger E. Palmer 81, of Rockton, IL, passed away to his Heavenly Home in his home, surrounded by family on August 23, 2021. He was born to Clarence and Myrtle (Anderson) Palmer and lived his life in this area. He graduated from Harlem High School in 1957 and married his high school sweetheart, Donna Mae (nee Allbee) 63 years ago. He continued to be an avid bike rider in retirement in Florida. Roger and Donna have a large group of friends from around the country. Roger retired from Colonial Bread Company in 1995 with 35 years in sales. He was an active member at Grace Lutheran Church for many years.
