Roger D. Johnson, 83, of Loves Park died Saturday, August 3, 2019. Born August 19, 1935, in Harvard, the son of Burton and Esther (Anderson) Johnson. Married Bonnie L. Selden on July 19, 1958, in Pecatonica. Employed by Dean Foods for 25 years and part-time by Sunset Memorial Gardens. Roger was an avid gardener. He had a huge vegetable garden growing corn, tomatoes and pumpkins. He enjoyed going to the races with his wife to watch his son and grandson race at the Rockford Speedway. Roger also loved to watch his grandchildren play football, baseball, hockey, motocross and basketball. Survivors include his children, Lori (fiancée, John Tracey) Johnson, Roger (Dawn) Johnson Jr., Brian (Denise) Johnson, Stephen (Donna Hilman) Johnson, Traci (Rich) Rehberg, Jodi Dreage and Toni Johnson; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Service at 11 a.m. Friday, August 9, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead, WI. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 8, in the funeral home.
