Robert John Walton, 61, of Loves Park, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Javon Bea Hospital. Born January 20, 1963, in Rockford, IL, the son of Wilford Wendall and Florence Julia (Szrajba) Walton. He married Arthur John Zaino. Employed in hospice care for many years. Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Robert was a special and very kindhearted person. He enjoyed flying, playing with his dog, and gardening. Survivors include his sisters, Darlene Walton and Janet (Leo) Mangiaracina; niece, Amber (Ryan) Goodwin; nephew, Brent (Becky) Mangiaracina; 5 great-nieces and nephews; special dear friend, James Fausett; many cousins, aunts, and uncles; and canine companion, Jackie. Predeceased by his parents; and husband, Arthur.

Private family services were held. Cremation rites accorded. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
