Robert Schrack

Robert D. “Bob” Schrack, 79, of Machesney Park was called home Thursday, April 28, 2016. Born November 29, 1936, in Janesville, WI, the son of Clyde S. and Rosalind M. (Woods) Schrack. Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Married Rosalie Redenius on January 18, 1958, in Allens Grove, WI. Employed by Whitney-Roper and most recently by Fairbanks Morse in Beloit, WI. Member of Grace Lutheran Church. Bob enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Rose; daughter, June (Michael) James; son, Dale Schrack; son-in-law, Russell Whittington; grandchildren, Heather Chance, Jake Jensen, Holly Vinyard and Stewart (Rebecca) Schrack; great-grandchildren, Khloe, Laura, Kalia, Quincy and Donald; brother, Rodney Schrack; and sister, Virginia (Bob) Giovanoni; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son, Rex; daughter, Barbara Whittington; grandson, Brandon; many brothers and sisters. The family wishes to thank Hospice of America for their wonderful care.

Service at 2 p.m. Friday, May 6, in Grace Lutheran Church, 343 Grand Ave., Loves Park, with visitation from 1 p.m. to service time. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane.
