Robert “Bob” C. Hanna, 69, of Roscoe passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Rosewood Care Center after entering hospice care. Born March 3, 1947, at SwedishAmerican Hospital, Rockford, the son of Richard C. and Sylvia June (Triplett) Hanna. Bob graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1965. After graduation, he entered the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a game warden at Bule Air Force Base and as an activities director on Ramey Base in Puerto Rico. Upon his return to Rockford in 1970, he attended Rock Valley College and Rockford Business College. Bob married Luanne Woodliff. He was employed by Twin Disc from 1973 until 1983. In 1983, Bob started Hanna Tool Service with his father. He operated his business sharpening industrial tools until he retired in 2011. He continued to be active in the business until it closed. Volunteered at North Park Fire Department. Bob enjoyed sharing jobs and was known as a prankster. He loved being with his family and supporting them through their activities. Survivors include his wife, Luanne; daughters, Rachel Pearson and Rebecca Hanna; grandson, Sean; special pet and companion, Freckles. Predeceased by his parents; and brother, William.
 
 Service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 14, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
