Robert “Bobber” D. Haase, 79, of Beloit, WI, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 27, 2017, in Beloit Memorial Hospital, surrounded by family. Born February 4, 1938, in Beloit, the son of Byron and Ida (Large) Haase. Attended Beloit Memorial High School. Veteran of the Korean conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. Married Deanna Springer on July 4, 1959, in Beloit and later married Jean Porter in 1973 in Beloit. Employed by Quigley Smart Heating and Air-Conditioning for many years. Avid Chicago Bears fan. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, music and riding his off road vehicle. Survivors include his children, Kim (Jeff) Dopp and Tracy (Tim) Conway, both of South Beloit, IL, Rob Haase and Racheal Haase, both of Beloit; grandchildren, Ryan and Kayleigh Hovland, Collin Conway, Sydney Dopp, Arizona Cuttill, Mayanna Haase and Vincent Lamendolo; great-grandchildren, Sullivan Wallace and Emma Hovland; sister, Bertha (George) Neumueller of Waterford, WI; brothers, Lobby (Donna) of Hayward, WI, and David Haase of Beloit; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; sister, Mary Alice Haase; and wife, Jean.
Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 16, at The Alibi, 1180 Madison Road, Beloit. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., of Loves Park, IL.
