Robert Cole

Robert W. Cole, 65, of Roscoe passed away Friday, March 25, 2016. Born April 24, 1950, son of Norman and Shirley (Sansom) Cole. Veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Marines. Married Kay Ann Yetterberg, August 24, 2007. Robert served on the Rockford Police Department, retiring after 30 years. He was then employed by the Winnebago County Sherriff’s Department for several years. Survivors include his wife, Kay; daughters, Amber (Ryan) Roberts and Marley Yetterberg; son, Christian Cole; grandchildren, Keegan Bock and Sophia Cole; sisters, Christy (Stanton) Seeberg and Susan (Charles) Spink; brother, Dave Cole; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents and sister, Terri.

Memorial service 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 4 p.m. to time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
