Ricky Schindler

Ricky William Schindler, 68, of Rockford passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.  He was born October 22, 1952, in Norway, MI, the son of Adolf and Ruth (Gramm) Schindler.  Ricky attended schools in Kingford, MI, and Michigan Tech.  He was a member of Delta Sigma PHI.  Ricky married Frances Rodeghiero on July 2, 1983, in Rockford.  Formerly employed by MJ Electric, ITT Thorp Corporation, Rock River Ford and Bank of America.  Ricky was current owner of Action License and Title since 1988.  He was a great dancer and enjoyed hunting, daily crossword puzzles and was an avid Packer Fan.  Survivors include his wife, Frances; his four children, Nikki (James), Chris, Brian (Michele), and Allison; numerous grandchildren; his mother, Ruth; oldest sister, Sharon (Bob); brother, Mark (Laurie); and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his father.

A Celebration of Life will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021, at the American Lombardi Club, 209 Olive Street, Rockford.  Cremation rites accorded.  Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
