Richard "Dick" Jahn

Richard “Dick” R. Jahn, 82, of Rockton passed away Monday, April 11, 2022, in Fair Oaks Health Care Center, South Beloit.  Born September 5, 1939, in Rockford, the son of Ralph and Gladys (Bumbard) Jahn.  Dick was a proud veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy.  Attended Vets Roll in 2014.  Employed by Gunite, Eclipse, Counselor, and retired from Sundstrand.  Avid Green Bay Packer fan.  Dick enjoyed reading, golfing, watching Jeopardy, and doing crosswords.  He loved his grandchildren.  Survivors include his children, Steve Jahn, Kerry Jahn, and Danielle (Troy) Thompson; grandchildren, Skylar Jahn, Chadwick Thompson, and Payton Rose Thompson; siblings, Diana Haskins, Karen Starnes, and Kris Blum; several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.  Cremation rites accorded.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
