Rebecca Jean Stubbs, 63, of Rockford died at 6:40 AM, Friday, January 7, 2022, in SwedishAmerican Hospital.  Born March 19, 1958, in Rockford, the daughter of Ellis Harvey and Diantha Woodrow (Taylor) Stubbs.  Employed by Bergstrom for 11 years.  Active member of City First and First Free Churches where she enjoyed attending the Bible study groups.  Rebecca loved to attend the upper Midwest horse fair with her family and was an Ice Hogs fan.  As a child, Rebecca loved Kiddie Land Amusement Park.  She also loved camping and traveling.  Rebecca was loving, family oriented, goal driven, caring, giving, funny, and a compassionate person.  Survivors include her children, Melissa Patnou, Rachel (Tracy) Hopson, Nathan Patnou, Stephen (fiancé, Denise Senn) Stubbs, Janelle Stubbs, and Brandon (Whitney) Stubbs; grandchildren, Audrey, Timothy, Triztan, Elizabeth, Traydel, Aaliyah, Anniah, Amiliah, Jannah, Elana, Keira, and Awbry; siblings, Ginger (Andy) Farrel, Stephen Stubbs, David Stubbs, and Chris Wenstrom; brother-in-law, Tom; numerous nieces and nephews; longtime friends, Kim and Gary Rice and Judy Dray, Florence Sandberg, Tim and Peggy Clow, Emmitt and Phyllis Moore.  Sorry if we missed anyone, we didn't mean to, please know with all your heart and mind that our mom loved you all and we know there is a huge hole in our hearts, but we will see her again in Heaven.  Remember to love others like Jesus does.  Predeceased by her parents; son, Jacob Patnou; sister, Ruth; brother, Bill Stubbs.

Memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022, in Five Gates Church, 821 4th Ave., Rockford.  Cremation rites accorded.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Oscar Mike Foundation, Compassion International, Phantom Ranch Bible Camp, Charity Water, Convention of States, NRA, Firearms Policy Coalition, Zoe International, Gun owners of America, Act for America, Rock House Kids, Kids Around the World, Heritage Action for America, Voter Id Now, Miss Carly's Place, Alliance Defending Freedom, ACLJ, Mission 22, My Faith Votes, Hills Dale College, Sampson Society, Be the Match, Prager U, Turning point USA, Stand for America, Hooved Animal Humane Society in Woodstock, Brave Hearts, or Urban Impact Ministries in New Orleans.  Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., Loves Park.
