Rebecca "Becky" Hanna

Rebecca “Becky” L. Hanna, 71, of Rockford, entered into eternal rest Friday, May 6, 2016. Born August 28, 1944, in Rockford, the daughter of Harold and Lavon (Walton) Erickson. Graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1962, Rock Valley College and then received her Bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois. Married Edwin C. Hanna. Employed by Rock Valley College for many years, retiring in 2010. Member of Grace Lutheran Church. Becky loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed sewing. Survivors include her husband, Ed; son, Brad (Tomoko) Hanna; daughter, Jill (Matt) Russell; six grandchildren, Brianna, Maci, Jenna, Erika, Alex and Reagan; sister, Joanne (Mickey) Badertscher; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; daughter, Jodie Lynn Michels; and sister, Patricia Logan.

Service at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 12, in Grace Lutheran Church, 343 Grand Avenue, Loves Park. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from to 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park.
