Rebecca Ann Gray, 68, of Loves Park passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020, in Javon Bea Hospital. Born Monday, April 7, 1952, in Rice Lake, WI, the daughter of Virgil and Evelyn (Lange) and Katherine (Haines) Novotny. Graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1970. Married Roger Gray. Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Rebecca was the first female Class A electrician in Illinois and was employed by W. A. Whitney for many years. She was a fan of the Green Bay Packers, enjoyed working with her hands, and was a talented cook, gardener, and decorator. Rebecca loved animals, having rescued and adopted several throughout the years. Survivors include her children, Charles Schulz II, Nikki (Jason) Bergeron and Roseanne (Jim) Imburgia; grandchildren, Marquee Schulz, Joseph Imburgia, Thomas Imburgia and Andrew Mumma; great-granddaughter, Alani; siblings, Michael Novotny, Terry Mackey, Bill Mackey, Kay (Dennis) Steffen, Bob (Julie) Mackey and Sandy Day; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents; twin brother, Bob; husband, Roger; Chuck Schulz; and special friend, Jon Nelson.
Memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2020, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with walk-through visitation from 11 a.m. to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
