Priscilla “Sally” Marlene Burdick, 96, of Rockford, IL, left this earthly life on Monday, May 19, 2025. She was born on December 30, 1928, in Cazenovia, WI, the daughter of Edward and Elsie (Braun) Hanko. She married Clarence Laverne Burdick on January 3, 1949, in Richland Center, WI. Member of St. Rita Catholic Church for more than 50 years. Also a member of the Moose Club and Verdi Club. Sally enjoyed traveling, camping, playing the slots, scratch tickets, canning, cooking, and gardening. Survivors include her sons, Richard (Michelle) Burdick, Stephen (Diane) Burdick, and James Burdick; daughters, JoAnne Augustine, Konnie (Dallas) Heffran, and Dawn Elliott; grandchildren, Brian Burdick, Sean Burdick, David (April) Burdick, John (Bethany) Burdick, Mathew (Kelly) Burdick, Paul Burdick, Stephanie Burdick, Ryan (Alexis) Swanson, Brittany McKone, Brooklyn (Christian) Nawloka, Evan Elliott, and Kenley Elliott; 10 great-grandchildren; longtime pet companion, Bootsie. Predeceased by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Sabrina Heffran; and brothers, Reynold Hanko and Bernard Hanko.
